Due to the lack of an official price index for pellets, partners of the European Pelet centre have collected prices of pellets from best available sources and averaged these prices for respective country. Consequently, the prices displayed should only be used as indicative prices for the market. Moreover, all prices includes national VAT (also prices for large consumers) in order to be able to compare the cost for the end customer.
The index indicates the average price development on the main markets of wood pellets supplied as
- single small bags
- small bags on pallets
- bulk delivery for small consumers
- bulk delivery for large consumers
The data covers quarterly the average price development starting from 2003 in the countries Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Austria, United Kingdom, Finland , Italy, Spain and Poland. Please choose the available country in the dropdown list and press the submit button.
